1 pair Size 5 short needles
1 extra Size 5 needle or set of Size 5 double pointed needles
10 strings or 1,700 size 6.0 beads

*When substituting another yarn, it should be very durable as the beads must be strung on
and slide down the yarn for the duration of knitting the scarf and must be thin enough to
not be damaged by the beads.
