They're a great way to give boots or wellies instant appeal and the patterns inside are all really simple, so even complete beginners can have a go. As boot cuffs are so small, you'll be able to knit up loads in a hurry, leaving you plenty of time for your other festive activities. I ordered this book on a whim and have been pleasantly pleased with it. There are designs for kids, stylish ones for adults and then some quirky ones. Most are knitted in chunky or aran but that just make them warmer. We all need some extra warmth in winter and we'll be bang on trend with these up-to-the-minute ankle warmers.
